Life Drawing Sessions with David Hedderman and Yuka Tanaka!
Come along to Flux Studios Dublin 2 to celebrate National drawing day with artists David Hedderman and Yuka Tanaka!
There will be a drop-in evening of life drawing on Saturday 17th May and a One-day workshop of life drawing and portraiture on Sunday 18th May, both suitable for all levels.
Classes will be held in the gallery space in Flux D2, drawing boards and materials provided. There will be a mixture of standing and seated positions available.
Saturday 17th May - Evening drop-in Life drawing 19:00-21:30
This is a 2 hour Life Drawing session with optional time to reflect afterwards. Mix of very short and long poses(1min to 20min, and 30min portrait at the end) are accompanied by a carefully curated playlist of music. Suitable for all levels.
The atmosphere is set by the music and the poses, inspired by our intensive sessions in Atelier 3/4; the old and dark industrial Berlin studio.
Session Fee: €20
Sunday 18th May - One-day Workshop Life Drawing and Portraiture 10:00-16:30
This workshop is composed with 2 hour life drawing session in the morning, and 2 hour portrait session in the afternoon.
In between, Dave will share the material tips and drawing techniques he's acquired over many years of continuous life drawing practice.
Each session is accompanied by playlists of music to intensify the focus and help you further channel the inspiration.
Group feedback to close the day.

Unfortunately, no refunds are given. Please make sure that you, or the person you are gifting the workshop to, can attend this workshop.
If you cannot attend the workshop we can reschedule your workshop if you inform us up to 21 days prior to the workshop's start date. If you request to reschedule less than 21 days before the workshop starting date we will not be in a position to change the date. Places can be given to a friend if you can no longer attend - please inform us as soon as you can with the new attendee's contact details.
