CILLLg a visual artist specialising in Moving Image Design.
His work is predominantly centred on illustration techniques to which he brings specific animation processes like parallax effects, perspective shifts and character animation.
He uses both traditional analog methods as well as digital computer based animation to create his work. He has developed an individual, hand-drawn style and has merged it with technical abilities in TV Paint and Adobe programmes such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro - allowing him to compose and edit his creations.
His animations – including the short film 'The Un-Chaotic Cabinet That Wishes For Me To Sleep' –explores themes concerning mental health and well-being
This film was nominated for best student 2D animation at Dingle Animation festival and was commended in the category of animation at the student Irish Design Awards. It is been screened at various Irish and International film festivals in 2022/2023.
